Emily’s 14th Birthday, the first one since she died, threatened to be a terrible day where missing her became too much to bear.

I want to remember Emily and how wonderful she was, not just be sad about her being gone. So we had a celebration of Emily, and drank a toast with passionfruit cider to her.  We also had coffee cake, carrot cake and chocolate cake; all 3 of her favourites!

We also had a visit from a robin!
