Emily Rose Oakes-Buckingham was born at 01:22 on Sunday 15th April.

We’d already chosen her name and I already loved her.  She was a miracle!  My Dad asked me if I wanted a TV card to which I said, “I don’t need Tv; I just keep watching her.  She’s so amazing!”

I watched her with that same amazement for her entire life.

According to the nursery rhyme, Emily being Sunday’s child:

”And the child that is born on the Sabbath day
Is bonny and blithe; good and gay.”

She was all that and much much more ❤️
